Job summary

Community Health and Counseling Services seeks a Treatment Foster Care Family Specialist II to support children and families within the TFC program. This full-time role emphasizes collaboration with DHHS, birth and resource families, and outside providers to promote emotional regulation in kids.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and some experience with children or families, with preference for experience handling behavioral challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Human Services or related field.
• Some experience working with children and/or families required; experience with behavioral challenges preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Treatment Foster Care Program as a key member of the TFC team.
• Collaborate with children, birth families, resource families, DHHS, and outside providers.
• Demonstrate organization, timely and accurate documentation, effective communication, and teamwork.
• Support children in building emotional regulation skills through creative activities.
