Job summary

Northeast Center for Youth and Families in Malden seeks a Foster Care Case Manager to provide intensive case management to youth. You will collaborate with schools, therapists, foster homes, and other partners, track progress, and support guardians and youth with goal setting and interventions.

This is a full-time, on-site role requiring strong communication, trauma-informed care understanding, and willingness to participate in on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in the human service or behavioral science field.
• LSW, LSWA, or license-eligible.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care.
• Approved CORI & DCF background checks (preformed by the EEC).
• Approved driving background check.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management to youth in foster care.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and collateral partners (schools, therapists, agencies, foster homes).
• Set limits, develop interventions, and establish goals with guardians and providers.
• Participate in on-call services as needed.

Foster Care Case Manager

Full-time opening for a Foster Care Case Manager in our Malden area office to provide intensive case management to youths. Responsibilities include communication and relationship building with clients and all collateral partners (schools, funding partners, therapists, agencies, foster homes, etc.), setting limits for youth, developing interventions, setting goals toward individual successes in conjunction with client’s guardians, therapist and other providers. Must participate in on-call services as needed.

• Auto insurance policy to meet NCYF requirements: Optional Bodily Injury to Others limits $100k per person / $300k per accident, Damage to Someone Else’s Property limits $100k on personal vehicle(s) used to transport clients. Proof of coverage required before employment.
