Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System through Crittenton Children's Center seeks a Foster Care Case Manager in Kansas City to provide comprehensive case management for children and families in foster care, supporting crisis intervention and permanency planning.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least one year of social work experience, a clean driving record with valid insurance, and the ability to coordinate education and permanency services within a family-centered care model.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to children and families in the foster care system.
• Support crisis interventions related to placements.

• Engage in liaison work with families, schools, and agencies.
• Provide permanency testimony in family court when needed.
• Maintain client records and permanency planning documentation.
• Contribute to adoption planning and recruitment of potential resources.

We are currently seeking a full time Foster Care Case Manager.

The Work

• Responsible for providing case management services to children and families in the foster care system.
• Placements support crisis intervention
• Educational advocacy authorization of services
• Liaison work
• Provision of permanency testimony in family court
• Maintenance of client record permanency
• Planning up to and including adoption planning
• Recruitment of potential adoptive resources

Job Requirements

• Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least one year of experience in social work.
• Must have clean driving record and applicable vehicle insurance.
