Job summary

Hoyleton Youth And Family Services in Fairview Heights, IL seeks a transportation and visitation support staff member for the foster care program. You will transport participants, supervise visits, and document interactions between parents, children and caseworkers.

This role requires strong organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive independently.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to drive independently with a valid driver’s license.
• Must meet DCFS/CANTS clearance requirements.
• Minimum of one year working with children.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation to and from parent-child visits, counseling, and other services.
• Provides supervision during visits and documents observations; informs caseworkers of concerns.
• Makes telephone calls to confirm appointments.
• Documents factual information of observations daily.
• Follows agency and state driving rules and safety guidelines.
• Performs administrative assignments as requested.
