Job summary

Luminant seeks a Regional Outage Manager to lead outage planning and execution at the Eddystone plant and other sites within PJM/MISO regions. You will coordinate plant personnel, contractors and equipment reps to meet cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.

The role requires 5+ years in outage management, strong scheduling and cost-tracking skills, and extensive travel (40-70%). Leadership and adherence to environmental and safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in managing unit outages for fossil power equipment.
• 10+ years in maintenance and repair of fossil power equipment.
• Familiar with turbine, combustion turbine and boiler components.
• Experience interfacing with contractor personnel and equipment reps.
• Travel 40-70% and ability to manage multiple large projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Outage Manager for scheduled and forced outages at assigned plant(s).
• Provide supplementary Construction Management support for outages at other plants.
• Ensure outages meet cost, schedule, quality, safety and environmental goals.
