Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers, deploying our vehicle intelligence products and integrating them into real-world environments from our Sunnyvale, CA office.

You will own end-to-end projects, tackle software, OS, and hardware challenges, and collaborate across engineering, product, and customer teams to deliver scalable, value-driven solutions. This role requires willingness to travel to customer sites and strong communication

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proficient in C++ and Python.
• Broad experience across software, OS, and hardware.
• Experience integrating and deploying complex systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and independent work in evolving environments.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Experience driving customer engagements.
• References describing them as low-ego, motivated, and curious listeners.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate, and operationalize vehicle intelligence products at customer sites.
• Tackle software, OS configuration, deployment, and hardware integration challenges.
• Bridge customer systems with Applied solutions to deliver value.
• Design scalable approaches for customer engagement and project execution.
• Develop architectural solutions to improve consistency across projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Own technical outcomes and drive projects to completion amid changing priorities.
