Job summary

Palantir is seeking Forward Deployed Site Reliability Engineers to build and maintain high-performance services for production infrastructure, primarily on-prem for the US Government. You will automate, troubleshoot, and optimize hardware, servers, and networking across secure facilities, with travel to multiple locations and a Top Secret level clearance required.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering teams, design of scalable systems, and hands-on management of Docker/Podman

Qualifications

4+ years of Linux system administration experience (RHEL or equivalent).
Experience with hardware environments and managing physical servers/networking equipment.
Active US Security Clearance at or above Top Secret level.

Responsibilities

Maintain availability of physical Linux servers powering Palantir platforms in air-gapped production environments.
Design, deploy, and operate infrastructure to support customer and product requirements via modern orchestration and monitoring platforms.
Collaborate with product teams on requirements and SLOs for deploying software into air-gapped environments.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and systems issues; automate routine tasks.
Provide technical troubleshooting for production issues and participate in on-call rotation.
