Job summary

FDE Times is seeking a versatile software engineer to translate customer challenges into end-to-end technical solutions, from system design to data integration. The role requires proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript, familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks, and the ability to travel and obtain a US security clearance.

Job description

Understand customer challenges and develop end-to-end technical solutions, from system design and prototyping through application development and data integration. Deploy and iteratively improve solutions by collaborating with customers and colleagues, adapting to each mission’s data, regulatory, and user needs.

Requirements: Candidates should have a strong engineering background, coding proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript, and familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks. The role also calls for effective collaboration, independent decision-making, continuous learning, willingness to travel, and an active US security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one; experience in logistics, materiel, sustainment, aviation, or readiness analysis is a plus.
