Expected to go onsite (into a SCIF) 3‑5 days per week.

Security Clearance

Must have an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to obtain a CI Poly.

Job Overview

Black Cape is hiring intelligence analysts with technical expertise to support defense intelligence missions. The role focuses on leveraging cloud‑native full‑stack web applications, advanced data analysis tools, and AI/ML capabilities to enhance operations.

Candidates will represent the next generation of object‑based intelligence, work closely with technical teams, and communicate system usage to analysts, senior stakeholders, and other parties. Preferred candidates have training‑material development skills.

Required Technical Skills

• Must have a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with key intelligence systems in the TS/SCI environment.
• Demonstrated experience in any intelligence discipline (e.g., MASINT, SIGINT), preferably All‑Source.
• In‑depth knowledge of intelligence collections and priorities.
• Basic fundamentals of intelligence writing and the intelligence analysis cycle.
• Firm understanding of intelligence reporting procedures.
• Strong briefing and public speaking skills.
• Mastery of basic Office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
• Previous experience working with software development teams in any capacity.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Familiarity with a programming language (e.g., Python) and/or programming concepts.
• Background working with object‑based intelligence.
• Experience communicating with senior stakeholders in a classified environment.
• Previous experience working order of battle.
• Experience in intelligence operations and dynamic targeting (watch officer or targeteer).
• Experience with blue‑force tracking and military force disposition.
• Curriculum building and ability to teach to terminal learning objectives.
