Careers in Mountain View seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer (12 months) to join as the second chair on engagements—deep hands-on execution behind the FDE Lead. You’re not customer-facing yet; your value is in the build: turning the Lead's architecture and commitments into working software across the stack, with real depth and real verification.

You’ll own the actual build across frontend (React/Angular), BFF/GraphQL, backend APIs, cloud, and CI/CD, and work with LLM APIs.

Qualifications

Full-stack, hands-on depth across multiple layers with end-to-end delivery experience.
AI/agentic engineering fluency: hands-on with agent harnesses and LLM APIs.
Understanding of architecture and design discussions; able to execute toward direction.
Delivery ownership with autonomy under a lead's direction.
Professionalism in working sessions; client-facing exposure not required.
Nice-to-have: legacy-to-modern migrations or AI-assisted artifacts.

Responsibilities

Own the actual build across the stack: frontend, BFF/GraphQL, backend APIs, cloud, CI/CD.
Deliver stack-specific work assigned by the FDE Lead with emphasis on verification and quality.
Run AI-assisted workflows, ship agents and automations, using LLM APIs.
Contribute to architecture discussions and support lead's direction without owning the final state.
Own your delivery slice and manage dependencies and constraints.
Communicate clearly in internal working sessions.
