Job summary

Rillet is building AI-native finance tooling for the fastest-growing companies. We seek a Forward-Deployed Finance Engineer who will embed with top customers to automate close processes and translate learnings into product.

You will own close outcomes for customers, influence the roadmap, and work hybrid from NYC or SF offices. Relocation optional; in-person days Tue/Thu with flexible days.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accounting with real month-end close ownership
• GAAP knowledge to defend entries to auditors, including revenue

Responsibilities

• Embed deeply with 3–5 strategic customers to map their close end-to-end.
• Identify high-leverage manual work and automate it with durable quality.
• Build and deploy agents that perform real accounting work with audit trails.
• Measure impact by days-to-close, hours saved, and error rates
