Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer Leader to shape the FDE framework, scale the operating model, and drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and Engineering. You will develop program design, build scalable processes, and guide a team of FDEs and secondments.

The role blends field technical leadership with program architecture, requires travel to embed with customers, and offers exposure to pricing, offerings, and post-deployment success motions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in forward deployed engineering, solutions architecture, software engineering, or related technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Evolve and scale the FDE operating model end to end, including engagement intake, scoping, sprint delivery, and success metrics.
