Forward Deployed Engineer | New York City | $250k-$350k + Equity

My client is an ambitious, well-funded AI-native financial technology business seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to turn new product concepts into scalable, production-ready systems.

Working directly with product teams and senior leadership, you will embed deeply within complex business problems, understand customer and operational requirements, and own solutions from discovery through deployment. You will build configurable workflows, customer-facing interfaces, data and document collection processes, third-party integrations and AI-powered review tools.

You will translate nuanced requirements into effective decisioning, pricing and transaction workflows, while supporting products throughout their full lifecycle. This is a high-autonomy position combining engineering, product management and commercial problem-solving.

The successful candidate will have experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, Implementation Lead or technically strong Product Manager. You must have owned products or implementations end to end, possess excellent product judgement and be comfortable working hands-on with modern AI development tools. Experience delivering financial services, fintech or other complex customer-facing platforms would be beneficial.
