Job summary

Fontaine Modification Company, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer Intern in Charlotte, NC. The internship focuses on researching and evaluating AI technologies to optimize manufacturing processes and business operations.

You will collaborate with multiple functions to define needs, assess vendors, and support proof-of-concept projects while developing actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Foundational understanding of AI and ML concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize data.
• Excellent research skills and ability to evaluate information from multiple sources.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; ability to present results clearly.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated with curiosity for technology and its business applications.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) is a plus.
• Basic programming skills (Python) are a plus.

Responsibilities
