Attis Global Ltd is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer / Deployment Strategist for Defense AI & Mission Operations. This remote US position requires travel and offers a base salary between $170,000 and $200,000 plus equity.

You will act as a field CTO, bridging R&D and live deployments across aviation, maritime, and tactical edge environments, translating complex military operations into deployed AI capabilities. Candidates must be U.S.

Qualifications

• Translating complex military operations, planning, and tactical workflows into deployed software and AI capabilities.
• Leading on-site deployments, field validation, and customer engagements across joint-force, maritime, aviation, or special operations environments.
• Partnering with program offices, PEOs, and military end-users to scope technical requirements, run user testing, and drive rapid prototyping.
• Hands-on technical execution involving Python, data analysis, API integration, or operational workflow automation.
• Working within secure, air-gapped, or classified government architectures and navigating defense compliance frameworks (e.g., DoD RMF).
• Prior experience in elite defense-tech deployment, national security acquisitions, or operational leadership.

Forward Deployed Engineer / Deployment Strategist (Defense AI & Mission Operations), Remote US with travel, Between $170-200,000 base + equity

Forward Deployed Engineer sought for a well-funded, highly successful defense AI scaleup bringing state-of-the-art AI to the tactical edge. They are a talented team of engineers and operators who bridge the gap between core R&D and mission‑critical customer deployments in aviation, maritime, and tactical edge environments.

The company is developing advanced AI systems that operate directly at the edge, bringing high‑performance intelligence into demanding real‑world environments without relying on constant cloud connectivity. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will serve as a field "CTO" and operational strategist for key defense engagements - working at the intersection of military operators, engineers, and decision‑makers to move AI out of the lab and into live production where reliability and mission impact actually matter.

We are looking for technical military technologists or FDE/Deployment backgrounds who thrive under uncertainty and understand how to translate messy operational constraints into functional technical solutions. You bring a blend of defense domain fluency, customer‑facing leadership, and hands‑on technical capability (such as Python, data modeling, or cloud/AI integration).

The ideal candidates will bring experience across one or more of the following areas:

• Translating complex military operations, planning, and tactical workflows into deployed software and AI capabilities;
• Leading on‑site deployments, field validation, and customer engagements across joint‑force, maritime, aviation, or special operations environments;
• Partnering with program offices, PEOs, and military end‑users to scope technical requirements, run user testing, and drive rapid prototyping;
• Hands‑on technical execution involving Python, data analysis, API integration, or operational workflow automation;
• Working within secure, air‑gapped, or classified government architectures and navigating defense compliance frameworks (e.g., DoD RMF);
• Prior experience in elite defense‑tech deployment, national security acquisitions, or operational leadership, defense scaleups, or active duty/reserve military engineering & operations backgrounds).

Clearance Requirement

Due to federal security standards, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an active TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
