People In AI seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge engineering and customer delivery in the Bay Area. You will work with customers to understand data, build integrations, write Python, and ensure the platform delivers value from day one.

The role requires 3+ years of software engineering experience, data pipeline expertise, strong communication, and willingness to travel. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building data pipelines and working with complex data.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical onboarding for enterprise customers.
• Build data pipelines and integrations for complex datasets.
• Develop Python solutions to support customer implementations.
• Understand geospatial and regulatory data across different regions.
• Translate customer requirements into product improvements.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and domain specialists throughout deployments.
• Own the technical delivery of customer implementations.
