Focus Capital Markets is partnering with a premier asset manager on a multibillion-dollar Gen AI initiative. We seek an experienced AI professional to design AI-enabled software for portfolio companies and share in equity upside tied to revenue growth.

You will work with leading minds in fintech and AI to deliver solutions beyond chatbots—software that directly drives profitability across industries. Strong communication and engineering skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in Gen AI/LLMs.
• Production-grade Python coding experience required.

Focus Capital Markets has partnered with one of the preeminent asset managers on a large-scale, multibillion dollar Gen AI initiative that levers LLMs to create value for portfolio companies (i.e. startups across industries).

We are seeking an experienced AI professional to develop and design AI enabled software products for the portfolio companies of the PE.

In this role, you will partner with some of the top minds in fintech and AI (i.e. ex-FAANG, OpenAI, YCs, unicorn startups, heads of AI at top-3 hedge funds) to develop AI-driven solutions that actually make companies more money.

This is NOT building chatbots; this is building software with some of the top SMEs in different industries that actually make companies more money. You in turn will also receive equity and upside compensation from the revenue growth.

This role sits at the intersection of technology and investment strategy and requires someone who is an effective engineer and communicator

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, ideally a forward deployed engineer or AI engineerrior professional experience working with Gen AI, LLMs and SLMs
• Professional experience writing production code in Python
• Experience in a client-facing engineering position would be ideal (i.e. management consulting engineering, forward deployed engineering)
• Experience with Databricks is a plus
• Professional experience with LangChain
• Demonstrated experience working with RAG architecture
• Tangible experience working with ETL, relational databases, SQL, NoSQL or MongoDB
• AWS, GCP or Azure experience required
• A bachelors or higher in computer science or a related field
• Must have excellent communication skills
