About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly adaptable and customer-focused Forward Deployed Engineer to join a leading AI-native company developing secure Generative AI solutions for government and enterprise organizations.
This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working directly with customers, understanding complex business and mission challenges, and turning those challenges into practical, production-ready AI solutions.
You will work at the intersection of Generative AI, software engineering, customer delivery, and AI automation, helping organizations identify opportunities to use AI agents and intelligent workflows to improve productivity and solve real-world problems.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with customers and leadership to understand their workflows, mission objectives, technical challenges, and AI needs.
- Serve as a trusted technical resource for Generative AI, helping customers identify practical AI use cases.
- Design and build Generative AI agents, plugins, RAG solutions, and workflow automations.
- Use technologies such as Python, prompt engineering, APIs, RAG, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD to develop and deploy solutions.
- Take solutions from initial discovery and prototyping through production deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Identify repetitive and time‑consuming processes and transform them into AI‑powered automated workflows.
- Provide hands‑on technical guidance, demonstrations, and training to customer teams.
- Translate customer feedback and requirements into clear, prioritized input for product and engineering teams.
- Follow established security, privacy, quality, and software development practices when deploying AI solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Stay current with advances in Generative AI, agentic systems, and AI automation and bring innovative ideas to customer engagements.

- Experience working with Generative AI tools, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with AI‑driven applications, automation, or agentic workflows.
- Strong problem‑solving and project ownership skills, with the ability to take an initiative from concept through delivery.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a customer‑facing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong interest in emerging AI technologies and their practical business applications.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and reside in the U.S.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and connecting AI applications to enterprise data.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in cloud or secure environments.
- Experience with government, defense, or highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, CMMC, or similar security/compliance frameworks.
- Experience translating customer feedback into product or engineering requirements.
- Experience working as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, AI Engineer, ML Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar customer‑facing technical role.
Why This Opportunity?
This role is ideal for someone who doesn't want to work on AI in isolation. You will have the opportunity to work directly with customers, solve meaningful problems, build cutting‑edge AI solutions, and see your work move from an idea to a production deployment.
If you're passionate about Generative AI, enjoy solving customer problems, and want to work on practical applications of AI agents, RAG, and automation, we'd love to hear from you.
