Job summary

Rerun is seeking a hands-on, customer-embedded engineer to support a data stack designed for physical AI. You will work with robotics and spatial-AI teams, running multi-month deployments to keep data flowing, surface product gaps, and shape deployments as the company grows.

You will stand up data pipelines, tackle hard data problems in customer environments, and collaborate across teams to keep deployments moving while traveling ~30% to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation with Python and hands-on data work.
• Experience in data engineering or data platforms, infrastructure or platform engineering, or software with substantial data work.
• Customer-facing: ask probing questions, surface hidden requirements, and coordinate across teams.
• Able to learn fast and work through ambiguity.
• Genuinely energized by understanding someone else’s problem and solving it with them.
• Approximately 30% travel to spend time with customers during deployments.

The role works side by side with customers over multi-month engagements to keep data flowing, surface product gaps, and shape how deployments work as the company grows.

Requirements
