Job summary

Balio is seeking a hands-on software engineer to join its portfolio-aligned team. You’ll work directly with portfolio companies to turn business problems into working software, focusing on integrating systems and deploying AI-enabled solutions.

You’ll learn operations across multiple businesses, translate processes into software, and take prototypes through production with attention to reliability and data permissions. You’ll help teams adopt and scale what you build.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on software engineering skills and experience shipping usable solutions.
• Ability to understand a business process and translate it into software.
• Practical experience with APIs, integrations and AI tools or applications.

The role

Work directly with teams in Balio’s portfolio companies to turn business problems into working software. You’ll learn how their operations run, identify where AI and automation can make a meaningful difference, and build solutions through to deployment and adoption.
