Job summary

Coverbase Inc. is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with customers to get them live on the Coverbase platform. Formal education is not strictly required, but a fierce can-do attitude and desire to make something of yourself are essential.

Our US-based, fully remote team gathers once per quarter somewhere in the continental US, with flights and lodging covered. You’ll collaborate with customers, build API integrations, fix bugs, and maintain technical docs to scale the product.

Expectations

We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with our customers to get them live on the Coverbase platform.

We care more about slope than y-intercept — formal education or prior domain knowledge is not strictly required, but a fierce can-do attitude and desire to make something of yourself certainly is.

Our team is US-based and fully remote. The team also comes together for a week every quarter at a location within the continental US. We’ll give plenty of notice for these gatherings, and cover flights and accommodation. We expect the whole team to participate.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Customers – Work closely with our customer’s business and engineering teams to gather integration requirements and ensure alignment with their business objectives.

• Build API Integrations – Figure out how to get data cleanly from our customers' systems into Coverbase and out again. This includes building and managing APIs and webhooks to enable seamless data exchange and automation across platforms.

• Bug Fixes and Feature Upgrades – Push production code to fix bugs and implement small feature upgrades for customers.

• Maintain Documentation – Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration designs, data flows, and operational procedures.

• Grow and Scale Coverbase – Foster a constructive environment for code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

• $140K to $180K base depending on experience and ability
