Job summary

Usul is seeking a forward deployed engineer to build and optimize data workflows used by government operators and our commercial platform. You will develop AI agents leveraging LLMs and create intuitive React UIs, traveling on-site to military bases as needed.

You will present to operators and executives at Fortune 500s and must demonstrate elite communication skills while solving mission-critical national security challenges.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional experience, full-time, full-stack development.
• Experience building AI agents and leveraging LLMs.
• Ability to present to operators and executives at Fortune 500s.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites at military bases.
• Passion for mission-critical national security problems.
• Experience building intuitive UIs with React.
• Elite/exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop data workflows and tooling used by government operators on a daily basis.
• Build and integrate AI agents and LLM capabilities into our platform.
• Support government and commercial platforms with secure, reliable solutions.
• Present findings and product updates to C-suite and senior stakeholders.

You’ll be a forward deployed engineer working in the room on the data and workflows operators in the government will use daily to acquire any technology at the speed of relevance. You’ll also work directly on our commercial platform to help the biggest defense companies the world and frontier startups win government contracts across our allies.

• Knows how to build AI Agents and utilize LLMs effectively
• Has confidence to present to operators and C-suites at Fortune 500s
• Willing to travel to customers on site at military bases

• Scrappy and fiery, pissed off with how the system currently works
