Job summary

Vibehackers is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to embed with client teams and build production‑grade AI systems, agents, data products, and business automations. You will own workstreams end‑to‑end, ship code in client environments, and deliver reusable artifacts back to the practice.

The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, clear stakeholder communication, and durable capability transfer. Candidates should have 2–4 years in software delivery or related fields and strong problem‑solving skills

• Strong communicator: technically clear with engineers and accessible/credible with business stakeholders.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to deliver before every requirement is fully defined.

Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) embed inside client organizations to deliver production-grade AI systems, agents, data products, and business automations. FDEs own assigned workstreams end-to-end, ship in client codebases and environments, and contribute reusable artifacts and patterns back to the practice.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in one or more: LLM application development, cloud-native development, backend engineering, or business automation tooling.
• Strong communicator: technically clear with engineers and accessible/credible with business stakeholders.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to deliver before every requirement is fully defined.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs (Claude, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent), including prompt architecture and basic agent patterns.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development (AWS preferred), containerization, or backend systems.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and producing working proofs-of-concept quickly.
• Background in consulting, systems integration, or professional services is a plus.

Operational / Business-Function Preferences

• Deep fluency in at least one business function (Finance, HR, Legal, Sales Ops, Supply Chain, Manufacturing).
• Hands-on experience with Zapier, Power Automate, Airtable, or similar business automation tools.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, D365, Workday, or ServiceNow.
• Experience supporting AI or digital adoption programs for non-technical audiences.

Compensation & Travel

• Base salary range: $136,000 - $216,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
• Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, equity, and other incentives.
• Role may require up to 50% travel depending on business needs.
