Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Manager to lead the Frontier pod as a mid-senior architect, owning design governance of agentic systems and mentoring Frontier Engineers. You will translate complex requirements into scalable AI solutions, supervise orchestration, and ensure quality across the pod and client engagements.

The role requires 8–12 years of hands-on engineering experience and senior technical advisory capabilities in enterprise AI deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy custom agents and agentic workflows; govern permissions and data access.

• Define AI orchestration architecture, state tool calling and failure mode patterns.
• Design agentic quality assurance frameworks, test orchestration and synthetic data strategy.
• Engineer enterprise knowledge bases, ontologies and retrieval pipelines for agent grounding at scale.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $150-160Kdepending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
