Nansen is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to build AI agents and automated workflows for marketing and digital teams across the US. You will work with a senior engineer, own the build from scope to production, and contribute to reusable patterns for future projects.
You will collaborate in client workshops, integrate with client systems, and ensure rigorous testing and documentation. This role offers a hybrid setup with travel to client sites and our Chicago office.
Build the AI agents and automated workflows that marketing and digital teams use every day.
At Nansen you will build the AI agents and automated workflows that marketing and digital teams use every day. You’ll work alongside a senior engineer on client projects, take ownership of the build, and learn how to turn a business problem into a system running in production.
Nansen helps marketing and digital leaders get more done with the people, platforms and budgets they already have. We draw on AI agents, integrations and workflows proven on real client work, adapt them to each business, build what hasn’t been solved yet, and measure what changes. We’re a team of 25 across the US and UK, and the people who plan the work are the people who build it.
In the AI practice, that means putting agents to work inside a client’s day-to-day operations. For one client, a review that took nine people nine hours each now runs overnight and takes minutes to read. Every solution we build goes into a shared library, so each project starts further ahead than the last.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you build the agents, integrations and tools behind our clients’ AI workflows. A senior engineer sets the technical direction on each project, and you take the build from an agreed scope to production.
This is a full-time, remote or hybrid role within the United States, with regular travel to client sites during delivery and time with the team at our Chicago office.
The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000 per year. The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Nansen is an equal opportunity employer.
Application deadline: Applications are anticipated to close 90 days after posting. The role may remain open until it is filled.
You must already be qualified to work in the USA in order to be considered for this position.
We look forward to working with you.
