Job summary

AvePoint is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (AI) to act as the technical face of the company with client organizations. You will translate business problems into scoped AI builds, wireframe prototypes, and own engagements end-to-end.

You will advise on AI trust, governance, and security, lead workshops, and deliver production-grade AI components for enterprise customers across cloud platforms. This role requires autonomy and travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
• Hands-on with modern AI/LLM systems in real projects.
• Experience building with LLM APIs and frameworks.
• Strong Python or C#/TypeScript skills and cloud fluency.
• Ability to scope technical projects from ambiguous requirements.

Responsibilities

• Advise on AI trust and governance.
• Lead workshops explaining AI governance to technical and executive audiences.
• Scope and shape AI build projects with clear deliverables.
• Build prototypes and production components for AI solutions.
• Own the client engagement from discovery to go-live.
