Job summary

Brex is seeking a hands-on engineer to build AI agents that automate internal workflows across the company. You will embed with teams to understand how they work, then design, build, and ship agents that connect to tools, MCPs, and internal systems.

The role blends prototyping with production-level reliability in a fast-paced environment. You will work in a hybrid Seattle office with some remote flexibility, collaborating with product, data, and platform teams to deliver measurable business

Qualifications

• 4+ years in engineering, technical product/program management, applied AI, or similar technical role, shipping AI/automation systems to production.

Responsibilities

• Embed with partner teams to understand workflows and shadow functions.
• Scope, design, and deploy agents that automate internal workflows.
• Integrate agents with internal systems, APIs, and data sources.
• Define evaluation frameworks, success metrics, and feedback loops for agent performance.
• Build shared tooling and playbooks to accelerate deployments while ensuring reliability and impact.
