Job summary

C-Serv in Plano, Texas, is seeking a seasoned network security engineer to own the Fortinet backbone for a major financial services client. This role requires deep FortiGate expertise and hands-on SD-WAN design across a global, multi-site environment.

You will operate and improve the Fortinet stack in a regulated, high-security setting, build audit-ready MOPs, test new features, and train client staff to become self-sufficient. Direct hire with a focus on specialist security work awaits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support or administration.
• 5+ years with network security products, 2+ years specifically with Fortinet.
• Strong hands-on FortiGate firewall expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet SD-WAN design, with hands-on experience in a global, multi-site architecture.
• Comfort working in a regulated, high-stakes financial environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operation and support of enterprise Fortinet infrastructure in a high-security, financial services environment.
• Building methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and releases that hold up under audit.
• Testing new features and releases before they touch production.
• Evaluating how third-party devices interoperate with Fortinet products.
• Training client staff so they're not dependent on you for everything.
• Being the person who catches issues early and escalates the ones that matter.
