Job summary

C-Serv Global Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Fortinet/network security engineer to operate and support Fortinet infrastructure in a high-security financial services environment in Plano, TX.

You will build MOPs for migrations and upgrades, test features before production, and ensure interoperation with third-party devices while training client staff for independence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support or administration.
• 5+ years with network security products, 2+ years with Fortinet.
• Strong hands-on FortiGate firewall expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet SD-WAN design in global, multi-site architectures.
• Comfort working in a regulated, high-stakes financial environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

What you'll own

• Day-to-day operation and support of enterprise Fortinet infrastructure in a high-security, financial services environment

• Evaluating how third-party devices interoperate with Fortinet products
• Training client staff so they're not dependent on you for everything
• Being the person who catches issues early and escalates the ones that matter

Must-haves

• 7+ years in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support or administration
• 5+ years with network security products, 2+ years specifically with Fortinet
• Strong hands-on FortiGate firewall expertise
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet SD-WAN design, with hands-on experience in a global, multi-site architecture
• Comfort working in a regulated, high-stakes financial environment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Nice-to-haves

• ADVPN experience
• 2 to 3 Fortinet certifications, EPSP-track certifications are the best-case scenario
• Prior professional services or consulting engineer experience
• Solid grounding in switching, routing, load balancing, WiFi, IPS, VPN, antivirus/antispam, web filtering and application control
