Job summary

iSphere Innovation Partners, LLC is seeking a Fortinet Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise Fortinet environments in the Houston area. This hybrid role requires four days onsite with one remote day, focusing on Fortinet Security Fabric and Fortinet products within production networks.

You will join a small, technical infrastructure team that values hands-on problem solving, architecture, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Fortinet Security Fabric.
• Experience implementing FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer in production.
• Solid knowledge of firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure.
• Experience troubleshooting complex network and security issues from root cause through resolution.
• Familiarity with Cisco networking and mixed Cisco/Fortinet environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise network security best practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve Fortinet-based enterprise network and security environments.
• Document environments and partner with a small team to find smarter solutions.
• Provide hands-on engineering and support for Fortinet components in production.
• Explain projects and decisions during interviews and share real implementations.
