Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation required.
• CPR training preferred or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Assist elementary school children crossing streets at designated intersections safely.
• Place traffic cones before school and remove after; monitor traffic gaps.
• Stand and move in varying weather while maintaining visibility to pedestrians.
• Communicate with pedestrians clearly; blow whistle to alert drivers of children.
