Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline.
• Experience integrating avionics systems such as MFDs, GPS, IFF, ADS-B, TCAS, ILS, Radar Altimeters, Air Data, MUOS, radios, Datalinks.
• Experience developing system performance specs, interface control documents, and test procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, design, and implement avionics system integrations.
• Develop and manage integration and test requirements for military aircraft upgrade programs.
• Create system performance specifications, interface control documents, and test procedures.
• Conduct air vehicle and system-level analyses to verify performance requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage avionics integration projects to meet customer objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with critical performance requirements.
• Provide technical oversight to subcontractors to ensure performance, cost, and schedule targets.
• Support program execution by identifying risks and proposing solutions.
• Evaluate integrated avionics and weapon systems to identify performance enhancements.
• Recommend design improvements and technology insertion strategies for increased capability.
• Support new business initiatives with technical solutions and proposals.
• Serve as a technical interface between internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
