Amentum is seeking a Software Developer to join our team at Fort Meade, MD. You will support mission-critical projects that impact the Nation’s security and intelligence mission, focusing on SENTINEL—a web-based application to track counterintelligence entities and relationships.

The role requires deep expertise in .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, EF Core, and front-end technologies like JavaScript and Bootstrap.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 12+ years’ relevant experience (or Bachelor’s 14+ years).
• Security Plus certified.
• 10+ years professional software development with a focus on .NET technologies.
• Strong C# and .NET Core expertise.
• EF Core, SQL Server experience.
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap front-end skills.
• Azure DevOps and Git experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new software solutions for SENTINEL using C#.
• Maintain and enhance SENTINEL functionality.
• Design and architect new features and components.
• Develop enterprise-level web applications using .NET Core, Razor Pages, DI, Web APIs.
• Manage data with EF Core and SQL Server.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders; mentor juniors.
