Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology and EIT status or pursuing licensure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; strong computer skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD and basic BIM understanding; ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering input for proper form selection and load calculations for shoring, forming, and reshoring
• Determine member sizes and spacing to meet design loads and safety standards
• Produce formwork shop drawings and crane/layout drawings per project standards
• Review construction drawings for dimensional conflicts and resolve design issues with multiple teams
• Communicate drawing conflicts to field teams and ensure timely resolution
• Supervise and develop junior engineers and provide training for inspections and pre-pour checks
