Job description

County Materials Corporation is a leading manufacturer and trusted industry resource for concrete construction and landscape products. For more than 75 years, their products have been used to build communities across the United States.

We are seeking a Formwork Carpenter for our customer, County Materials, located in Green Bay, WI.

This position involves tasks related to the manufacturing of concrete pipe and box structures.

Starting wage is $23.00+/hour based on qualifications and skills.

Job Duties:

• Build, form, and cast concrete structures according to product plans.
• Perform duties such as operating overhead cranes, placing mold sections and aluminum forms, and installing reinforcement per design specifications.

Work Environment:

• Indoor work setting
• Work near moving machinery and equipment
• Noise exposure

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting/carrying of 10-40 pounds
• Occasional lifting/carrying over 40 pounds
• Standing, walking, climbing
• Squatting, crouching, kneeling, bending
• Pushing, pulling, reaching above shoulder level

Experience & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industry practices preferred
• Proficiency with carpentry tools such as saws, hammers, drills, and measuring devices
• Understanding of blueprints and technical drawings
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Teamwork and safety awareness
• Willingness to learn
• Experience as a Formwork Carpenter or similar role preferred
