Responsibilities

• Study blueprints and diagrams to determine dimensions.
• Measure materials or distances for layout.
• Cut or saw boards, timbers, or plywood to size.
• Assemble and fasten framework with bolts, nails, or screws.
• Anchor and brace forms and structures.
• Mark cutting lines on materials.
• Erect forms, scaffolds, ladders, hoists, or roof supports.
• Bore bolt holes in timber, masonry, or concrete walls.
• Assemble wood or metal forms for columns and walls.
• Fabricate parts with woodworking and metalworking machines.
• Dig or direct digging of post holes and set poles.
• Dismantle wall and column form.
