Job description

We are seeking a skilled Formwork Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling formwork for concrete structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in drywall, finishing, flooring, framing, painting and related tasks are required.
• At least two years of experience doing construction or renovations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Construct, assemble, and dismantle formwork, falsework, and framing for concrete structures.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
• Ensure that formwork is properly aligned, leveled, and secured.
• Pour, spread, and smooth concrete as needed.
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other tradespeople.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to company and industry safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of formwork systems, materials, and techniques.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
• Certification or apprenticeship in carpentry or a related field.
• Willing to work overtime and shifts when needed including Saturdays.
• Able to work unsupervised, motivated to complete all tasks.
