Job summary

Remedy Staffing is seeking an immediate candidate for Forklift / Materials Mixing at a Des Moines area plant. Shift options run 6:00am-2:30/4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime when busy. Starting pay ranges from $21.00-$22.00 per hour.

The role requires sit-down forklift experience with certification, solid math skills, and the ability to pass an OSHA respirator physical. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods in hot or cold environments and work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move product within warehouse.
• Operate processing, packaging, and blending equipment.

• Produce finished products ensuring adherence to QA processes and standards; fill drums and totes with liquids.

Forklift / Materials Mixing

We have immediate long-term production needs for a local manufacturing plant on the east side of Des Moines.

Hours: 6:00am-2:30/4:30pm (8-10hr days) (Monday-Friday) O.T. during busy seasons

Starting Pay: $21.00-$22.00/hour.

Duties:

• Operates a forklift to move product within warehouse (sit down propane).


• Operates processing, packaging, and blending equipment.


• Assists in equipment clean-out and moving packing equipment.


• Produces finished products so that they conform to quality assurance processes, procedures, and standards.Fills drums and totes with liquid products.

Requirements:

• Min 6 month sit down forklift w previous certification.


• Solid math skills.


• Capable of passing an OSHA respirator physical is required.


• Can stand for long periods of time in extreme hot and/or cold temperatures.


• Ability to work varying/rotating shifts.Overtime may be required.
