Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Supervisor for the Formulations Manufacturing team in Carlsbad, CA. You will lead one or more work centers, guiding 5–15 colleagues while overseeing safety, quality, cost, and daily operations.

You will coordinate with cross-functional partners to plan production, resolve issues, and continuously improve performance. The role involves audits, investigations, and product scale-up, within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related discipline, with 5+ years in manufacturing or a research lab; or a master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ year of leadership experience preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in an ISO- or cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver production schedules with cross-functional teams.
• Resolve technical and process issues to improve manufacturing performance.
• Support audits, investigations, CAPA, and corrective actions.
• Scale-up and introduction of new products for production readiness.
• Lead and develop a team of ~5–15 colleagues, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
