Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is hiring a Drug Product Manufacturing Associate I - Formulations in San Diego. The role supports routine production, cGMP compliance, and collaboration with the Drug Product team to ensure successful completion of manufacturing activities.

The position requires 0–2 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and preferably a life sciences degree. A strong emphasis on detail, teamwork, and proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• The requirements include a high school diploma; a life sciences degree is preferred.
• 0–2 years of relevant manufacturing or lab experience.
• Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with cGMP, manufacturing, machine operations, and data entry.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs manufacturing tasks including sterile filtration, formulation, in-process testing per SOPs and cGMP.
• Supports implementation of procedures and production schedules.
• Assists colleagues with technical issues during shift.
• Updates Master Batch Records and SOPs as needed.
• Maintains production resources and supports product development projects.
• Operates production equipment such as TFF system, Rotavap, Microfluidizer, homogenizer, chiller, pumps, mixers, SIP, and CIP systems.
• Keeps aseptic operations in GMP facilities across Grade A–D cleanrooms.
• Documents and reviews batch records accurately.
• Coordinates material preparation for sterilization; collaborates on troubleshooting.
• Disposes lab waste per SHE procedures and maintains cGMP environment.
