Job summary

Champions Oncology in Rockville, MD is seeking an Experienced Formulation Technician II to support in vivo oncology research studies. The role involves formulation of test compounds, data recording in LIMS, and adherence to study protocols, with weekend/holiday rotation.

Preferred BS degree in chemistry/pharmacology or related field and ~2 years of related CRO/hospital/bench experience. Reporting to Supervisor, Formulation Services in a full-time, day-shift environment.

Qualifications

BS degree in chemistry, pharmacology, or related field (preferred).
2 years of related experience in a CRO, hospital, compounding pharmacy or similar research setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

Receive, distribute, and disposition test compounds, vehicles, and reagents.
Formulate test compounds, vehicles, and reagents.
Record study data within the laboratory information management system.
Read, understand, and adhere to study protocols.
Draft, edit, modify, and verify compound formulation procedure documents.
Perform general study preparation and organizational activities, including sample tube labeling, supply organization and stocking, and laboratory organization.
Work weekends and holidays on rotating basis.
