Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for night-shift operations on a 12-hour schedule (6:00pm–6:30am). The role offers a $25.00/hour base rate with a 10% shift differential and opportunities for bonuses under a robust benefits package.

Responsibilities include safe manufacture of pharmaceutical products, preparing areas and equipment, GMP/SOP compliance, and training of junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in powder blending/granulation, tablet compression and/or coating.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely manufactures high-quality pharmaceutical products according to established schedules.
• Prepare manufacturing areas and equipment for production.
• Clean processing equipment and rooms per SOPs and GMP.
• Provide assistance and training to Formulation Technician I.
• Troubleshoot equipment as trained; provide feedback for process improvements.
