Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Formulation Scientist - Process Development in Irvine, CA, onsite. You will help design and conduct formulation studies to support development and manufacturing processes, under supervision of Sr Scientist, Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on industry lab experience in formulation development.
Experience with analytical testing of small molecule therapeutics.
Familiarity with pre-formulation, formulation, process development, scale-up from lab to pilot scale.
Knowledge of techniques like HPLC, UV-Vis, particle size analysis, dissolution, rheology, pH, osmolality, viscosity.

Responsibilities

Help design and conduct formulation studies to support development and manufacturing processes.
Demonstrates meticulous lab practices and generates reproducible, well-documented data.
Authors and reviews notebook entries and technical memos, maintaining data integrity.
Reviews internal and external documents and prepares scientific reports.
Completes trainings by Quality department as part of GxP compliance.
