Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Boston, MA is seeking a Formulation Scientist to support the development and optimization of lipid nanoparticle formulations and biologics. The role involves analytical work with HPLC, UV-Vis, and related instruments, plus documentation in ELN and adherence to GLP.

The ideal candidate has a biology/chemistry background and hands-on lab experience; comfortable with data interpretation, pipetting, and maintaining robust lab records.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in biology/biochemistry/chemistry with 1–2 years lab experience or Master’s with <1 year experience.
• Understanding of industry practices and standards.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and interpret experimental results.

Responsabilidades

• Support research scientists with experiments per company protocol.
• Examine and analyze peptides, nucleic acids, proteins, antibodies using wet chemistry and instruments (HPLC, Solo-VPE, MFI, AKTA, DLS, HI-AC, Viscosity).
• Formulate and characterize lipid nanoparticles.
• Document work following GLP principles and electronic lab notebook usage.
• Assist with lab organization, safety practices, and cleanliness.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• Support research scientists with their experiments based on company protocol, method, and procedures
• Examine and perform analysis on peptides, nucleic acids, proteins and antibodies using general wet chemistry techniques and various instruments, such as: HPLC, Solo-VPE, MFI, AKTA, DLS, HI-AC, Viscosity
• Formulate and characterize lipid nanoparticles
• Support scientists with the formulation of biologics and nucleic acids and buffers, as needed
• Follow GLP and good documentation using electronic lab notebook
• Help with organizing and cleaning of lab and work environment
• Follow documentation and safety practices
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other related field with 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience. Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other related field with < 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Understanding of industry practices and standards.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and interpret experimental results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with pipetting, pH, Uv-VIS and HPLC.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

The position isfull-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pmwith overtime as needed.Candidates living within a commutable distance ofBoston, MA are encouraged to apply.
