Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. is hiring a Production Operator for the Formulation department on a 1st shift to support the manufacture of Core, Hematology and Diabetes product pools following GMP processes.

You will prepare for production, assemble equipment and maintain a safe, compliant work area. The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to operate lab and production machinery, and flexibility for overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate lab/test equipment.
• Experience operating manual, semi-auto and automatic production machinery preferred.
• Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Accurate and detail-oriented.
• Team player/ flexible/ attentive to detail and quality minded.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, with overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs directed activities in the Formulation department to assist the manufacture of Core, Hematology and Diabetes product pools and intermediates.
• Prepares for production by reviewing production schedule; assembling equipment and supplies.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures.
• Documents production by completing forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batches.
• Performs basic instrument operation and maintenance.
• Can assist in the troubleshooting instruments/equipment or reagents related issues and coordinates support operations.
• Can assist the routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Reviews maintenance and/or equipment specific procedures.
• This position is for a first-shift operator (Hours: 7AM to 3:30PM).
