Job summary

Litehouse Foods in Sandpoint is seeking a Formulation I team member to measure, mix, and document batch ingredients with precision. This shift runs Monday–Friday 6am–2:30pm, with overtime as needed, starting pay $16.95 per hour.

You will help ensure GMP compliance, log steps, clean and sanitize equipment, monitor product quality, and communicate issues with the team. No sponsorship and training provided; we value safety and accuracy in every batch.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Measure & mix with accuracy following precise instructions.
• Document batch steps according to GMP and maintain records.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, tanks, filters, and workspaces.
• Check in-process quality to ensure product meets standards.
• Communicate issues and improvements with team and supervisors.

What You'll Do

• Measure & Mix with Accuracy: Retrieve and prepare dry/wet ingredients for production following precise instructions.

• Document the Details: Log every step according to GMP-because quality starts with great records.

• Clean & Sanitize Like a Pro: Keep equipment, tanks, filters, and workspaces spotless and safe.

• Check the Quality: Perform in-process checks to ensure every product meets our gold standard.

• Stay Connected: Communicate issues, equipment concerns, and improvements with your team and supervisors.
  

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED

• Less than 1 year of experience? No problem-we'll train you!

• Basic understanding of food safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

• Knowledge of FEFO inventory practices, ingredient handling, and batch preparation

• Physical stamina to lift and transport materials and the visual/mathematical literacy to do it right

• Awareness of safety standards, including hazardous material handling and use of PPE

• Bonus if you're certified in forklifts, pallet jacks, or drum haulers (but we can help with that too)
