Qualifications

• Pursuing a master's or doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy, Drug Delivery, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to commit to a six-month Co-op assignment.
• Ability to work accurately on multiple projects under aggressive timelines.
• Strong computer and digital skills including Microsoft Office, DOE software, modeling, and simulation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.

Responsibilities

• Execute formulation development strategy for assigned projects.
• Perform hands-on laboratory experiments and formulation development activities.
• Solve technical problems through the application of scientific knowledge and creative thinking.
• Conduct pre-formulation activities and material characterization of APIs and excipients.
• Conduct testing of physical attributes of formulation compositions, prototypes, and new products.
• Analyze and interpret data generated from testing and characterization activities and prepare summary reports.
• Support the formulation team through literature searches and technical reviews.
• Present project summaries to formulation and cross-functional teams.
• Write and review development plans and technical reports.
• Participate in and contribute to innovation activities; interact with development center teams.
