Qualifications

• Pursuing a master's or doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy, Drug Delivery, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to commit to a six-month Co-op assignment.
• Ability to work accurately on multiple projects under aggressive timelines.
• Strong computer and digital skills including Microsoft Office, DOE software, modeling and simulation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.

Responsibilities

• Execute formulation development strategy for assigned projects.
• Perform hands-on laboratory experiments and formulation development activities.
• Solve technical problems through application of scientific knowledge.
• Conduct pre-formulation activities and material characterization of APIs and excipients.
• Test physical attributes of formulations, prototypes and new products.
• Analyze data and prepare summary reports from testing/characterization.
• Support formulation team with literature searches and technical reviews.
• Present project summaries to formulation and cross-functional teams.
• Write and review development plans and technical reports.
• Participate in innovation activities.
• Interact with formulation team and other Development Center groups.

Master's or Doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Pharmacy/Drug Delivery/Chemical Engineering
