Job summary

Avid Bioservices in Tustin, CA is seeking a Research Associate, Formulation Development to independently plan and execute formulation-development studies for protein-based biologics, including monoclonal antibodies, across preclinical and clinical programs.

You will interpret analytical data, investigate atypical results, and recommend scientifically supported next steps while serving as a technical resource to development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a biological or physical science.
• 1+ years of hands-on lab experience with relevant fundamentals.
• Ability to apply scientific principles to plan studies and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute formulation-development studies for protein biologics.
• Generate analytical data (pH, conductivity, protein concentration, etc.).
• Investigate atypical results and recommend next steps.
• Author and revise protocols and development reports.
• Present conclusions to cross-functional teams.
