Job summary

A prominent manufacturer in the chemicals industry is seeking a Formulation Application Chemist in the Cassopolis, Michigan area. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of car-care formulation experience, with new product formulation experience highly preferred.

The candidate will test products, showcase knowledge at industry events, and may work with silicone chemistries. Location is Cassopolis, MI, and the position is full-time with on-site responsibilities in a manufacturing

• 3 years of chemical formulation experience in the automotive/car care industry (i.e., paint polish, conditioners, paint preservatives, leather care, degreasers, etc.) is required for this role.
• New product formulation experience in the chemicals industry is required for this role.
• Ability to present products with knowledge at industry trade shows and conferences.
• Demonstrated product testing experience.
• Experience working with silicone chemicals is a plus for this role.
